I am getting the same problem exactly and I am completely lost by it. I am getting two copies of of my ASP .NET Website instead of one and the commas are being inserted on very postback.

I didn’t quite understand your answer about “For a solution, if you only need to show or hide a div,”. How am I cloning my HTML chunk?
